About the Recipe

Hello everyone! Today we are going to show you a very quick and easy delicious breakfast recipe which will require only a little time of your hectic morning routine.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams pohe

  • 1 tablespoon peanut

  • 2 tbsp peanut oil

  • 1/2 tsp Rai (mustard seeds)

  • 1/2 tsp Zeera (Fennel seeds)

  • 1 big onion chopped

  • chopped green chili as per taste (2-3 or as required)

  • curry leaves

  • A pinch of turmeric

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • lemon

  • chopped coriander(for garnish)

Preparation


 

1. Wash the pohe in a colander.

Don't let it soak for too long as it will become soggy. After a quick wash, let it drain the excess water.



2. Roast the peanuts in peanut oil on high flame.

I used peanut oil here, but you can use any oil available / as per your choice.



3. Once roasted, sim the gas and add zeera, rai, chopped onions, green chilies and curry leaves.



4. Wait till the onions become translucent.


5. Add salt as per taste, turmeric powder and a pinch of sugar to balance the taste.


6. Add washed pohe into and pan and mix well then cover it with a lid and let it sit for around five minutes.


7. Add lemon juice just before taking it off the heat and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.




Tada! Your delicious pohe is ready!
